Hi Jeffery, I heard you for the first time at the Marie Witherspoon (my co-worker) Birthday Party in Huntsville. AL this past Sunday. What a pleasant treat that was to hear you! There are very few Artists who can be so electrifying at a live performance. You are absolutely phenominal!!! I was the first one to purchase three of your CDs that night, and spoke briefly with you as I was leaving. Just as I knew, your music has been so soothing and enjoyable! Thank you for sharing your awesome gifts/talents with the world, and adding a piece of heaven to my life. It is such a fresh style that you have. I pray God's best for you in all that you do. Keep your heart, mind, and ears open to the voice of God, and He will never stear you wrong. Take care and may the Lord richly bless your life always. Peace. Wanda Lott

Mr. Jeffery Smith This past New Years Eve bash was a real treat. Each time that we see you in concert we learn something new. Mr. Smith you are truly a Master to your craft. It was a honor to be present. For a man to stick to his craft since age 7 and still maintain those qualities is a True Blessing. For you to honor Our Father, Your fans and Yourself by not partaking of anything except the energy of your fans, water and your God given talent is a true blesssing. Mr. Smith don't ever change whom you have become. Just seeing you perform it let's us all know that you still have not reached your full potential. Your wife and Mr. Miller are your backbone. Just seeing their smiles and energy supporting you says so much in itself. We both are waiting for your upcoming selection of music. We all know that perfection can't be rushed so we are standing by. Mr. Smith, Thank you for coming into our lives, for not changing and above all for not being afraid to state your Love for our Heavenly Father. As I close I will always hear and feel your music as my comfort and my putting me in a state of peace. Thank you Troy & Sylvia

Mr. Jeffery Smith, You have left us all with a lost for words. Your performance last night to us both was your Best. You have Truly Mastered your Craft. A man that has humbled himself before our Heavenly Father has no limits on how far he can go. Once again imagine your favorite drink that has been aged. You sip it slowly to enjoy all of the smoothness as it slowly crosses your palate. Now imagine your music as being our favorite drink that has been aged. It is Truly Music for our souls. Mr. Jeffery Smith, Thank you so much for being so humble and so sincere to your craft. Troy & Sylvia, Corpus Christi, TX

Hey man, had a great time in San Antonio, TX. Saturday night at Randolph Air Force Base, truly a awesome show. Add me to your email list, if you're within striking distance I will definitely come again.
great music
I ran across this music while listening on iTunes radio and was totally blown away with the smooth sultry guitar fusion of soul, jazz and mellow r&b expression. Jeffery plays in a style that I play and desire to play. God willing I will soon have a nice collection of this music in my collection
It is very rare to come across a cd that is slammin from beginning to end. I happened to win a cd from my local jazz station WVAS, Montgomery, Al. I am just sitting back and just listening and my body won't be still, either my head is moving or just rocking! I thank you for the music without hesitation it's the best I've heard in a long time. Keep up the music because it's awesome. Be blessed and looking forward to hearing more from you. Adriane
Mr. Jeffery Smith We both do hope that all is going well for you and yours. First off before I go any farther we both want to say THANK YOU. Now you are probably asking yourself WHY? Just imagine having a fine WINE, COGNAC or a SCOTCH. As it ages it gets better with time. You take a sip & slowly swallow, savoring how great it feels as it goes down. The old adage MUSIC is FOOD for the SOUL. That's the best way to describe YOUR MUSIC. Your music has such a SOOTHING and CALMING effect on all WHO LISTEN, KNOWS and UNDERSTANDS GREAT MUSIC. Just keep on doing what you do best. We have listened to a lot of artist. They haven't always been CONSISTENT. Everything that you have ACCOMPLISHED thus far has been PURE PERFECTION. All that we ask of you, KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Troy & Sylvia of Corpus Christi
A truly gifted musician. It's a pleasure to hear a musician with the "ear" and the talent. Tired of the Same old mundane rifts. Keep doing what you're doing. I hope to see you perform at some point.
you move jazz to the next level...awesome
One listen and you're hooked!
Hey Jeffery, still following your career since you have moved from Dallas. Still trying to learn the guitar. I have been so inspired by your talent. When I first met you at Ft Bragg I have been so hooked on learning to pay. I am planning on being at the show in San Antonio in October. After purchasing all the albums at the VA in Dallas I see there are many more I need to get. Hope to visit with you in San Antonio. Jeff

Love your music and hope you play in the Chicago area soon.
We miss u at the Dallas VA. It's ur favorite fan!
Really love your music. Also enjoyed listening to you play at the Oklahoma City VA hospital.
Hello Mr. Jeffery Smith First & foremost we hope that Mr. Miller is doing better. The hospital admin could have given a furlough for 24 hrs. They should have realized that he was going to be with great people. Ones that will give him the respect & love for the man that he is. Mr.Smith remember when we made the statement of your being a True Master. When you came on stage we thought that it was part of the program on what you were doing. We only heard the one speaker go in and out. Mr. Smith a True Master adapts and overcomes all situations. To us both this has been your best show. The reason is that you had to do it all. We hope that all of your shows will include Mr.Miller's Groove no matter what. He is a part of you & you a part of him. Mr. Smith you are a Joy to Behold. We enjoy all of your music. Mr. Smith you made us feel proud when you said that you will rest after church. We remember your 1st show when we had to leave early because of work. Mr. Smith all that we ask of you never change whom you are and what you stand for. A True Master, one who understands, adapts, is humble and appreciates whom he is. A man of the True God appreciates what he stands for. One that isn't afraid to be different. Troy & Sylvia of Corpus Christi

"Love Is Very Special' is my song. This song soothes me every time I hear it. I am sure that angels have a beautiful voice, that is what I feel about Cheryl's voice. With this song I hear an angels voice, and it is one of the most beautiful love song I have heard in a long time. I also would like to say that Jeff's CD Smooth Groove is also my favorite. Dears, I've discover recently Jeffery music, don't tell me why, but this is how it works, I can't understand how it is possible while I've been listening this kind of music B.C., feeded up from stations, magazines, and none had been able to raise up this wonder. Maybe, I need to discover him this way. I love all the stuff, been investigating and as next Jan is my birthday I will give myself all Jeffery stuff I can buy, I do not like some stuff is only available digital, I like pyscihal formats. Have set my own radar to get all that stuff, this is my highway to heaven, hope to be able to get as much as I can, but please let me know how can I get all. For instance know there is a season work but is a hard to find as well as others, sorry for the length, but I need to complete my collection and without these groovies it will never be complete. As a music columnist I always keep a motto to “NEVER” be bias when reviewing a music project simply because it’s always hard to critique your favorite artist or as in this case my favorite smooth jazz artist is Jeffery Smith. Jeffery Smith released his 11th project “Smooth Grooves. Vol.1″ and as hard as I tried to find something to critique and trust me I listened to this project over and over and I can honestly say “Smooth Groove. Vol.1″ is about as FLAWLESS as it gets when it comes to the genre of smooth jazz. “Smooth Grooves. Vol.1″ is a 10 song project my favorites are “Perspective” (Guitar and Piano version), “Summers Melody”, “Visions of the Future” and “Groovin’ (That’s What I Like)”. Jeffery Smith does a fine job displaying his guitar skills especially on “Jazzy Blues” & “The Chill Zone” which will remind you of jazz greats Wes Montgomery, George Benson & Johnny “Guitar” Watson” actually the whole project demonstrates just how really gifted a guitar player Jeffery Smith is and not a bad piano player either. “Smooth Grooves. Vol.1″ I hope will be the project that will put Jeffery Smith on the map because he is very underrated as an jazz artist who deserves to marketed on a national scale with the likes of Boney James, Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Najee and the late George Duke. Once again I’m not being BIAS I simply tell the truth that comes from my heart and if you don’t believe me just listen for yourself and you will see why Jeffery Smith is my favorite smooth Jazz artist and definitely a force that need to be recognized. Great job Jeffery Smith you never seem to disappoint. Keep up the good work and one day your “SHINE” will surely come. 1 Luv
Dear Mr. Smith, To God be the Glory for the great things He has done!!!! He has truly blessed and anointed you with such a gift!!! And praise God that you give Him the Honor and Glory!!! WOW, AWESOME, OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, are just a few words to describe the concert you gave August 3, 2013, at Randolph AFB!!! We along with our guests had a time that words cannot describe!!! You truly outdid yourself!! What a night to remember!! And "Kudos" to Mr. Miller! He is AWESOME!! We look forward to your next event in San Antonio!! God Bless and Keep you!

Hi Jeffery, I just found your music and I finally decided to contact you to let you know how much I appreciate your work. Right now, I'm listening to "Highway to Heaven" and I have to confess that i'm being quite impressed by the incredible work. For my blog, i listen to many smooth jazz music and i can say the melody orchestrated by the guitar and synthesizer (chorus) on a r&b tempo in the first part of the song is one of the coolest I've ever listened. Really! In addition, i must say i really like your guitar technic. The whole record is very good but there are also other songs that i like very much : Rhythm of Life and Baby you are. Keep making me dream, it's great! You can visit my blog at : http://smoothjazznet.blogspot.com (this blog is the only one which talks about Smooth Jazz in France ) Encore bravo pour ton travail et à bientôt ! Thierry, from France. PS. Sorry for my poor english language.

Hello Jeffery Like the new website!
Dear jefferey, these few words just to tell you that your music is just ''out of this world''. Never was a guitar fan before, i was rather a bass guitar oriented fan, you conviced me that playing guitar could also be a ''groovy experience''. I just bought every single of your CDs and became instantly your MONTREAL-CANADA based first fan. When are you coming up? Keep it up Can't wait for your new release
Hey, you! It's so wonderful to see you being musically free. A beautiful thang, indeed! ;-) I'm with JJ .. you should definitely consider developing additional Smooth Jazz Instrumentals volumes because, like Lay's Potato Chips, one will definitely NOT be enough. MY Jeffery Smith Smooth Instrumentals playlist includes music I can listen to while doing absolutely nothing but smiling. Let's start it off where it all began with After the Rain (1999). You know that's my joint (and my ringtone). Love the individualism of the instruments in Daydream (After the Rain, 1999). My all-time favorite¦ In the Midst of War (Watercolors, 2003) it's like a cup of Starbucks white chocolate mocha with a hint of peppermint for me¦ smooth and creamy with an occasional tickle to keep me smiling. (You know that guitar run at the 4:10 mark just wears me out!) But listening to In the Midst of War lets me know that everything is gonna be alright. Now that I think about it, I feel a similar, less intense sensation when listening to Mocha Love (As Is) (Coming Back to Life, 2005). From the same album¦ a discovery for me, For the Fallen Soldier (2005) yeah, I got caught sleeping on it, but I really like it now. As I Clear My Mind (Lost Rhythm, 2002) and Leave It In the Ocean's Groove (Love Stories, 2008) are a little more upbeat, but I love their instrumental simplicity. And let's just say I know what was on ya mind, boy, when you created Incense, Candles, and Wine (Rhythm of Life Part I, 2009) it comes out loud and clear. A real piece of art! So that's my Smooth Instrumentals by Jeffery Smith playlist to be played while I'm doing absolutely nothing but smiling. ;-) A few more really smoooooth non-instrumental grooves¦ Natural High (After the Rain, 1999), I Will Never Leave You (Pleasure of Love, 2001), and Magic Carpet Ride and Understanding (Love Stories, 2008). I love the quote in your bio, Your ears and your heart will celebrate hearing the unique, smooth sounds of Jeffery Smith. I couldn't have said it better. Thanks for the opportunity to share, darling, and congratulations. Take care!
I love you daddy
Enjoy your music very much. I can listen to it for hours. Nice web site
Jeff Man you are top billin!! You got that jazz on lock!! I bought all your albums at least twice and turned a lot friends on to you. I gotta take the wifey to see you live!! God Bless!!
I like the new website. These are my all time favorite music. #1 Lost Rhythm- Tonight and Dreamin. #2 Back to you-Please don't judge me, and I sing this song for jesus. #3 Love stories- Meant to be, I have plans for you, and Making up loving.#4 Pleasure of love- Sweet serenade and I'm sorry. #5 Coming back to life- Only lover, only friend, Groove trip, Searching, and For the fallen soldier. #6 Rhythm of life series (pt1)- Looking for what I could not find, Incense, wine, and candles, Old school cruzin, and Jeffery's Jukebox. I love all of your music short of not putting all of the CDs these are my favorite. I hope to see some of these in thee Xmas CD. Have a blessed day.
I met you at the Schweinfurt, Germany PX several years ago. You were scheduled to appear until 3PM, but you were still playing at around 3:30 when I walked in. I am glad you did. I had frankly never heard of you, but stopped to hear you play. You had me at the first song. I was totally mesmerized by your smooth/Quiet Storm jazz style. You music is good chillin' music. I was able to talk to you one on one for a few minutes and found out you were from Dallas. I related to you that I had several family members who lived in the Dallas area(Dallas/Plano/Irving. To make a long story short I bought the three or four different albums of yours that the PX carried and have purchased others since then. I really have enjoyed your music.
My husband and I love your music. One of our most memorable evenings was the first time we heard you perform at a concert we attended. We were blowed away by your music. Your website is great. May God continue to bless you with your musical gift. Can't wait until we see you perform again!

My friends and family were ecstatic to be a part of this event and to be able to meet you up and close. The Fayetteville and Fort Bragg community loves you and looks forward to your return. I am your number one fan! Shirley

Let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Galatian 6:9 Mahalo Bro
Jeff: You have too many smooth jazz songs to put on one cd, you might need a part 2. I looked over your 9 cd's, man it's hard choosing. But here goes: Take Me Home, Highway to Heaven, Rhythm of Life, Lost Rhythm, Visions, Treat U Right, Nature's Theme, Pleasure of Love, Coming Back to Life, In the Pocket, Groove Tip, Shake, Let's Ride, Situations, No Worries, Baby U Are. And these are only the instrumentals. And what's so great about these selections is that none of them feature you singing, (do I see a part 2 or 3 in the works?. My wife loves your swingout selections. Oh, thanks for choosing to sing and play all those smooth talking lady songs on your cd's like- I Have Plans For You, and I Will Never Leave You. #1 SA fan JJ.
Jeffery: Hi, it's JJ, your #1 San Antonio/Schertz, TX fan. It's a real pleasure to see you in SA during your visits. Your new sight looks great. Highway to Heaven; outstanding selection. Your music, I tell ya, have always been an uplifting part of my travel to and from work each and every day for past 9 yrs. Keep doing what you are doing. Love the sound, love the music. But most of, the friendship, God Bless: #1 Fan
