Hi Jeffery,
I just found your music and I finally decided to contact you to let you know how much I appreciate your work. Right now, I'm listening to "Highway to Heaven" and I have to confess that i'm being quite impressed by the incredible work.
For my blog, i listen to many smooth jazz music and i can say the melody orchestrated by the guitar and synthesizer (chorus) on a r&b tempo in the first part of the song is one of the coolest I've ever listened. Really!
In addition, i must say i really like your guitar technic. The whole record is very good but there are also other songs that i like very much : Rhythm of Life and Baby you are.
Keep making me dream, it's great!

My brother I you at BX. Henry is his name, Jeffery I don't know if you believe in God Moments, But it was truly a God moment for my brother Henry. I can remember the day he sent me your "Please don't judge me ) CD he was so excited. Your music helped him through a rough time. I LOVE your CD I have always loved the guitar and I am a Wes Montgomery fan from way back. When I heard your CD my heart was so over joyed I made a copy for one of my fellow church member and he just fell in love with it as well. Your CD stays in my Cd player in my car and when I am listening to it I think about my brother. Also during that time our bass guiatar player at my church was going through cancer and I thought about him as well Jeffery your CD was so important to me as well because it help me through some things. Hello Jeff,
A few mths back we ran into you at Lackland AFB for my birthday weekend. Syl stated that she would love to see you in person performing one day. It was like magic we travelled from Corpus Christi to see you perform in San Antonio for her birtday. Even though we had to leave early because of work, the performance was great. We are planning on seeing you again, but this time we will take time off from work so that we can see the entire show.

My husband had the opportunity to see you last year in El Paso, I am so sorry that I have not seen your show as of yet. But we fell in love with your music when we heard you playing at the BX at Ft. Just finished a day of test at the OKC VA.
While walking down the hall to car, heard this Beautiful sound that eased me back to a good mood in a Flash. Thought I would find out what radio station it was. To my surprise, it was a smooth playing Jeffery Smith. Purchased the CD, "Watercolors".

Hey, you! It's so wonderful to see you being musically free. A beautiful thang, indeed! ;-) I'm with JJ .. you should definitely consider developing additional Smooth Jazz Instrumentals volumes because, like Lay's Potato Chips, one will definitely NOT be enough.
MY Jeffery Smith Smooth Instrumentals playlist includes music I can listen to while doing absolutely nothing but smiling. Let's start it off where it all began with After the Rain (1999). You know that's my joint (and my ringtone). Love the individualism of the instruments in Daydream (After the Rain, 1999). My all-time favorite¦ In the Midst of War (Watercolors, 2003) it's like a cup of Starbucks white chocolate mocha with a hint of peppermint for me¦ smooth and creamy with an occasional tickle to keep me smiling. (You know that guitar run at the 4:10 mark just wears me out!) But listening to In the Midst of War lets me know that everything is gonna be alright. Now that I think about it, I feel a similar, less intense sensation when listening to Mocha Love (As Is) (Coming Back to Life, 2005). From the same album¦ a discovery for me, For the Fallen Soldier (2005) yeah, I got caught sleeping on it, but I really like it now. As I Clear My Mind (Lost Rhythm, 2002) and Leave It In the Ocean's Groove (Love Stories, 2008) are a little more upbeat, but I love their instrumental simplicity. And let's just say I know what was on ya mind, boy, when you created Incense, Candles, and Wine (Rhythm of Life Part I, 2009) it comes out loud and clear. A real piece of art! So that's my Smooth Instrumentals by Jeffery Smith playlist to be played while I'm doing absolutely nothing but smiling. ;-)
A few more really smoooooth non-instrumental grooves¦ Natural High (After the Rain, 1999), I Will Never Leave You (Pleasure of Love, 2001), and Magic Carpet Ride and Understanding (Love Stories, 2008).
